Are GTA 6 reviews out?
Not yet. As of October 10, 2026, Rockstar hasn't announced a review embargo date, and GTA 6's Metacritic page has no critic score. We'll update this page as soon as reviews go live.
When will GTA 6 reviews come out?
Rockstar usually lets reviews out very close to launch. For GTA 5, the review embargo lifted on September 16, 2013, one day before release. If Rockstar follows the same pattern, expect GTA 6 reviews around November 18, 2026, the day before launch, or on launch day itself.
There are unconfirmed reports that Rockstar may have critics play at controlled locations instead of sending out review copies. If so, that could change the timing. Treat it as a rumour until Rockstar or the outlets confirm it.

Fake GTA 6 scores to ignore
Scores for GTA 6 have already circulated, including a "review" posted to a user-submitted site months before release. None of them are real. Nobody outside Rockstar can have finished the game before review access is given. If a score isn't from a recognised outlet after the embargo lifts, ignore it.
