The short answer
PlayStation Store listings show GTA 6 unlocking in the US at midnight Eastern Time on Thursday, November 19, 2026. The whole country unlocks at the same moment, so the further west you are, the earlier it is on your clock: 11:00 PM Central, 10:00 PM Mountain and 9:00 PM Pacific on Wednesday, November 18.
Important: Rockstar has not announced an official unlock hour. These times come from the PlayStation Store listings for each region, as reported in late September 2026. Microsoft hasn't published Xbox times, though they are expected to be similar. Check your own store page during preload week, from November 12.
